Although I expected never to go touring aboard such a wonderful machine it happened. But that’s a story for yet another page.
This, my first serious attempt (private domain name, personally paid for hosting and that kind of stuff) at doing a blog. As the result of unpredictable circumstances I ride a GL1500 Goldwing Aspencade 20th anniversary edition. Like I said that is another story. So I am dedicating this to the Honda GL1500 Goldwing and those that own and ride them. In the slightly over two years since I got my ‘95 Aspencade it has provided highly pleasurable, comfortable and carefree riding. With a bit of DIY maintenance and repairs I expect it will continue doing so for some time to come.
As with any blog GL1500Goldwing.com is and will remain an ongoing work in progress. For the time being there is no intent to place advertising sidebars on the site. Although you may from time to time find I recommend some products and/or retailers please understand I do not endorse or promote for the profit of this site. Product and retailer mentions are made because of personally positive experiences with them.
This is a “.com” site and there is commercial intent. With the myriad of products already offered it might be hard to believe there can be new, improved and innovative items to come up with. That may be true but one is in testing this summer and several others are in the conceptual and developmental stages. Any products offered here will be those developed, tested and produced by myself. But for now I only wish to enjoy the experience of organizing and writing a blog. When the time comes for offering products I have been developing and testing you will be the first to know.
In the meantime check back for information about projects, how to articles, riding experiences and occasional rantings and ravings (I’m really good at the ranting and raving stuff).
Your comments, suggestions and personally written articles are welcomed but will be moderated and posted as deemed proper. Registration is not required in order to post. Spam will not be appreciated.
Wow, I get the feeling this will prove to be a more intense endeavor than I imagined.
